Q. When is Veniero's main store and cafe open?
A. Veniero's is open 365 days a year.
Sunday - Thursday 8 am - 12am
Friday - Saturday 8 am - 1am
Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Easter Sunday - closes at 4pm

Q. Can all products be shipped via UPS?
A. No, a pre- selected assortment of some of Veniero's favorite products are available for UPS shipping.

Q. What is the shelf life of our products?
A. Cakes, cookies, biscuits, and pies etc. should be refrigerated for about 5-7 days in the refrigerator. All our cookies and biscuits can be frozen. Miniature pastries, large pastries, and cannolis must be refrigerated immediately and served within 2 days of purchase, Cannolis should be served the same day of purchase to ensure the crispness of the shell.

Q. Do you carry gluten free, dairy free and sugar free products?
A. Yes, we have the following products: Gluten free: Diamond Baci Pastry, Blood Orange Delight Pastry, Pignoli Cookies, Spumenti, NY Cheesecake (plain, almond & chocolate chip) Sugar Free: Assorted Cookies Dairy Free: Papatelle Biscotti Low Carb: NY Cheesecake (w/ Splenda)

Q. Is Veniero's a nut free environment?
A. No

Q. Can I use a Veniero's gift card to purchase items on-line?
A. No, a Veniero's gift card can only be used in our main store and not on-line.

Q - What does Veniero's do with my information?
A. Any information you give to Veniero's through this site is kept within our company. We do not sell or distribute our contact lists or client lists to anyone. The information is solely used to help understand our customers, reply to their comments, suggestions or concerns, and to better direct our promotions. Your privacy is important to us.

Q. What are the ways I can place an order?
A. You place an order on our website (venierospastry.com) using a major credit card or place your order by calling (212) 674-7070) and speak with a staff member.

Q. Can I place an order on-line for next day delivery or pick–up?
A. Yes, if you are ordering any of the many products that are stocked daily for our store, you may have it delivered or picked up for the next day. Custom cakes and photo cakes will require 2 days. Call (212) 674-7070 to place those orders.

Q. Can I change the pick-up time or delivery time for my order?
A. If you are late for your pick-up we will hold your order. If you need your order earlier than scheduled, please contact us by phone (212) 674-7070 and we will let you know if that is possible.

Q. Are there ways to avoid waiting on line in the store during the busy holidays?
A. Yes, many products can be ordered 1-2 days in advance for pick-up. But during the busy holidays it is best to order days or weeks in advance. Also, for those items that do not need to be weighed, (cakes, pies, 2 lb. cookie trays, an almond torte, or boxed candies) we have an express line , making the experience a very easy, fast and pleasant one at Veniero's.

Q. Do you require a deposit for a wedding cake or special order cake?
A. We require a full payment for all orders.


FAQ - SHIPPING

Q. Can I ship outside the New York Metropolitan area?
A. Yes, we ship throughout the Continental United States.

Q. When will my order arrive?
A. Orders received for UPS shipping by 3 pm will be shipped on the next shipping day We ship Monday - Friday. Standard 2 day shipping is available for shipments sent Monday - Wednesday with delivery on Wednesday - Friday. For example: If an order is taken on a Thursday, it will not be shipped until Monday since there is no shipping Saturday & Sunday. You can choose a date sometime in the future to ship your order by using our order calendar. Overnight shipping rates are available.

Q. Will I receive an order confirmation and tracking number?
A. Once you place your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order with a tracking number.

Q. What if my package does not arrive on time?
A. Once your package ships from our store, we are not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, inaccurate shipping information, or the drop-off policies of our carriers. UPS does not require a signature for delivery on any order.

Q. What if my order is not delivered to he proper address?
A. UPS will not deliver to P.O. Box addresses. Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct. Once a package has been shipped, the address cannot be altered. A wrong address is not Veniero's responsibility and no credit will be issued.

Q. How can I be assured that my gift order will be delivered to the recipient?
A. If your item is a gift you should notify the recipient of the anticipated date of delivery.

Q. What are the handling instructions for a cheesecake that has been shipped?
A. Remove cheesecakes from their packaging. The cake should be partially frozen or cool to the touch. Put into the refrigerator immediately. DO NOT LEAVE OUT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. Our cakes will last from 5 -7 days in the refrigerator.

Q. Can a Veniero's cake be refrozen?
A. Yes , if the cheesecake arrives partially frozen it may be refrozen. Simply wrap the cheesecake tightly in plastic wrap and put in a sealed plastic freezer bag or container. Maximum storage time is 3 months. Continual freezing and thawing will negatively affect your cheesecake‚ texture and taste.

Q. What is Veniero's policy regarding returns, refunds, modifications or cancellations of an order?
A. Returns, refunds, modifications, or cancellations can only be made within 48 hours of shipment date.
